Many filtration products use a wetlaid process, which requires glues or other binders. These emit VOCs (including formaldehyde) when they get warm, adding to air contamination rather than reducing it. Colback synthetic non-wovens use polymer binding instead of chemical glues – which means no VOCs.

A customer said our proprietary nonwoven fabric was best for their filters, but its seams may affect their new production lines.
