Protecting and supporting high-performance filters, Colback PWD30 improves effectiveness all round.
In multi-layer pocket filters, Colback PWD30 is the ideal protection layer, increasing the stiffness of pockets.
For the extra-fine filtration needed in HVAC pocket filters to ensure the cleanliness of conditioned air, Colback P-series products provide the ideal support layer. When you’re using 30gsm to 40gsm melt-blown non-wovens, our filter media, bonded to yours, give your pockets extra rigidity.
With the extra reinforcement Colback provides, HVAC pockets can stand up by themselves. They don’t flop or get blown around in use – so there’s minimal wear and tear, and they need replacing less often.
The open structure of Colback gives filters high air flow with low pressure drop. Add this to outstanding dimensional stability, and you have exceptional filtration performance with minimal energy consumption.
Colback is extremely easy to handle, cut, shape, fold and pleat. So when you use it in any kind of filter, it reduces manufacturing time and therefore cost. In complex products such as HVAC pocket filters, the efficiency savings are even greater.
A customer said our proprietary nonwoven fabric was best for their filters, but its seams may affect their new production lines. We found a bonding process that eliminated the seams, and so suits their production. The solution offers expansion opportunities for both our customer and for us.Read success story
